Differentiate Yourself

In the world of Porsche tuning, no company has been doing it as long as German outfit Gemballa. And there's no car they won't upgrade, including the rather rare and highly coveted Carrera GT. This particular car, which received Gemballa's "Mirage GT" upgrade, is a perfect example of what sets them apart in the aftermarket world.

Full Monty

The latest Mirage GT that you see here took a whopping 1,000 hours to complete. It's also received the full Monty of Gemballa's upgrades, from the exterior to the bespoke interior.

Fully Covered

On the inside, that means loads of Alcantara, carbon fiber, and leather. Virtually every surface you can see or feel has been upgraded in some way, shape, or form.

Rarer Than Rare

Gemballa promises to build just 25 examples of its Mirage GT, which makes the Carrera GT even rarer than it already is. After all, just 1,270 of them were built in the first place.

Improving on Perfection

So how do you improve upon what most people consider perfection to begin with? On the outside, that means new body panels developed through extensive wind tunnel testing. And the result is increased stability and airflow for the engine and brakes.

Run With It

Gemballa took what Porsche had already done and expanded on it, making extensive use of carbon fiber and exact digital measurements to offer up improvements in every possible way.

Supreme Luxury

That philosophy extends to the Mirage GT's impressive interior. Each owner has their choice of colors and materials, making each Mirage GT wholly unique. But no matter what you choose, the end result is a new level of supreme luxury.

Improving the Ride

As you might imagine, the suspension of the Mirage GT has undergone extensive upgrades as well. Things like fully adjustable race-tuned coilovers, electro-hydraulic height adjustment, and lighter wheels add up to an improved driving experience.

Crank It Up

The calling card of the Carrera GT is its Formula One-inspired 5.7-liter V10, and Gemballa wasn't about to leave that untouched, either. With a ram air intake system, stainless steel exhaust, and remapped ECU, they managed to crank out 670 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque.

Natural Evolution

The end result is a car that's retained Porsche's original philosophy for the Carrera GT and run with it. With supreme craftsmanship and careful development, the Mirage GT is truly the natural evolution of a supercar legend.
