The 993-gen 911 is hot these days, and for good reason. Many consider this to be the best-looking of all 911s, and these cars were also the very last to be blessed with air-cooled engines. If you love the 993 as much as we do, you'll undoubtedly find that this gorgeous low-mile '97 Cabriolet we spotted recently at Bring a Trailer is one fine representation of this special breed of Porsche.

Immaculate Condition
After spending its entire life split between Pennsylvania and California under a couple of owners, this 911 somehow still only has 8k miles on the clock. As a result, the car looks essentially brand new. The Guards Red paint shines bright, the black soft top appears to be immaculate.

Notable exterior features on this particular car include a set of Litronic headlights, along with those ever-attractive 18″ Turbo Twist wheels wrapped in Continental SportContact2 tires, which the seller added recently. As you would imagine with such a low-mile car, the all-black leather interior is in pretty amazing condition. According to the listing, the most previous owner drove the car around 6,500 of its 8k miles, which means the original owner barely ever used it over their six or so years of ownership. Regardless, this was obviously a prized possession and fair weather cruiser for both.

Under the hood, you'll find a mostly stock 3.6-liter M64/23 flat-six powerplant that looks exceptionally clean. The only modification here is an ECU that's been flashed with a European-specification tune. The mill sends power back through a six-speed manual transmission to a limited-slip differential.

She's a Keeper
Given how incredibly nice this car is and how fantastic the 993 is in general, we can't imagine the new owner will be unhappy with their purchase. Whether they decide to drive it or keep it as an investment, well, that's a different story. But we suppose we'll find out over the next year or more!
