It Takes Two

There are all sorts of sayings in life that essentially communicate the same thing - things that come in pairs are simply better. But when it comes to Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, the automaker's in-house personalization department, we've never seen any pairing quite like this. Yes, ten lucky folks who buy one of these special 911s will also get a matching private jet, because why not?

The Duet

Porsche calls this special pair the Duet, and it consists of an Embraer Phenom 300E and a 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S that both feature a number of the same details. For starters, both are finished in Platinum Silver Metallic and Jet Gray Metallic two-tone paint, with Brilliant Chrome and Speed Blue stripes - which are painted by hand.

No Step

Both the jet and the 911 bear a custom logo inspired by the wing of the Phenom 300E as well. On the inside, the Porsche's door sills feature sill plates that read "no step" which are illuminated in red - an obvious nod to aircraft.

Little Touches

The individual registration number of the matching jet can also be found underneath the 911's rear wing, as well as on the key, which is a very cool little touch. And aside from the door sills, the 911's interior features a number of aviation-inspired touches including a Sport Chrono dial face designed to look just like the gyroscope in the jet's cockpit.

Accessories

The cabin of the 911 is finished in black and chalk leather, with a 12 o'clock marking in blue. Buyers receive matching luggage for their new land/air combination, which is a given, but they also get a very special timepiece - a custom Porsche Design 1919 UTC Globetimer, which features the ability to switch time zones at the push of a button.

Top Peformers

Neither the Porsche nor the jet feature any sort of performance upgrades, but that isn't really necessary given the fact that both are already at the top of their class. After all, the Turbo S accelerates to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds, while the Embraer is capable of cruising for up to 2,000 nautical miles and reaching an altitude of 45,000 feet.

Perfect Pair

The Duet certainly isn't cheap, but it is most certainly a dreamy combination for those that have the means. We can't imagine a better way to travel than rolling up to our hangar in a special Turbo S, transferring our bespoke luggage to our matching jet, and then sipping a cold beverage on our way to the next business meeting - or weekend escape.
