1. The One Millionth 911

After 54 years of legendary performance, the one millionth 911 Carrera rolled off the assembly line in Zuffenhausen. To commemorate the very first Porsche 911 ever built, Porsche gave this 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera S a special coat of paint that was one of the most popular colors back in 1963 when the 911 journey began.

2. Special Interior Accents

The Porsche 911 has been one of the most popular production race cars since 1963, and that never changed. For the extremely special one millionth 911, the 2017 Carrera S gets wooden accents around the cabin, like the steering wheel, the shift knob, and the dashboard, as well as a normal manual transmission, without the paddle shifts. For the very first time in decades, a brand new Porsche 911 looks like something right from the past.

3. Unique Exterior Touches

The exterior is painted in the original shade of Irish green like many Porsche 911s were back in the day. To complement the green sleek paint color, all the badges on the vehicle are done up in gold. The 5-spoke wheels look extremely familiar, adding a unique touch to a very special vehicle.

4. Engine and Performance

Although this Porsche is based on the 1963 911, it offers a bit more power than the original one, as you can imagine. The one-millionth Porsche 911 Carrera S is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, which develops 420 horsepower. This vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds, which is four seconds faster than it's predecessor from 1963.
