Bilstein Damptronic

Price – $3,000

Performance/Ride Quality – Excellent

Lifespan – Excellent

Warranty – Limited Lifetime

Bilstein Damptronic coilovers give owners an aftermarket option for coilovers in active suspension cars. The benefits of an active suspension are tremendous. The term "Damptronic" is a marketing-made name that refers to the fact that the dampers for these coilovers can be electronically adjusted between various "Comfort" and "Sport" settings, depending on what the driver selects. Damptronic coilovers give users the option to adjust setting levels based on the type of driving they wish to do, switching instantly between settings at up to 20mm at both axles. Users can also lower the car 30-50mm at the front and the rear. Damptronics also feature a corrosion resistant coating, gas pressure technology, monotube construction, and round threads for easy adjustment. Recommended for its adjustability.

Ohlins Road and Track

Price – $2,800

Performance/Ride Quality – Excellent

Lifespan – Very Good

Warranty – 2 Year Limited

Ohlins Road and Track coilovers feature unique Dual Flow Valve (DFV) technology, which allows the wheels and tires to quickly as well as effectively resume their positioning on the ground, leading to superior grip and traction on the road. This also allows for a much more comfortable, OEM-like ride than most other aftermarket setups. Height can be adjusted using the lower flange, which doesn't compress or extend the spring like other setups. Recommended for its comfort.

KW Clubsport

Price – $5,000

Performance/Ride Quality – Excellent

Lifespan – Excellent

Warranty – Limited Lifetime

KW Clubsport coilovers provide a nice mixture of high-end racing technology and low maintenance OEM characteristics. They provide numerous adjustment settings that allow users to tailor the suspension to their personal preference by hand, using the integrated click adjusters. Rebound adjustment and compression damping are able to be adjusted independently of each other. Three way shocks are available as well, which allow for adjustment of both low and high speed compression. This solution is a step above the traditional Version 3 "V3" coilovers, and are generally ready for motorsport use out of the box. Recommended for its nice mixture of high-end racing and low maintenance OEM characteristics.
