This US-spec model 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo Carrera was recently sold on Bring a Trailer for $96,500. And given the relatively low mileage of the car, the well-documented current condition, and the fact that it's in pretty decent shape all make it worth every penny of the near $100K bid.

Bitter Chocolate

For many of us, the mesmerizing brown-on-brown color combo is either the selling factor or a major turn-off. But regardless of what side of the fence you're on, it's impossible to deny the sheer cool factor that this classy Porsche possesses.

Engine work

The selling dealer indicates that the car had some engine-out service done when the car was at 66,000 miles. The thorough refurbishing of the motor cost about $4,000. Since then, the car has been driven a few thousand miles and sat at around 71,000 miles at the time of the listing.

Fresh Paint

Another area of restoration for this gem of a machine has been the paint. According to the listing, the car's paint has gone through a complete glass-out refresh. The original paint is still visible, however, in areas such as inside the door jams.

The Dark Brown color scheme complements the exterior hue perfectly. On top of that, it gives this awesome driver's car a sense of real luxury as well.

Turbo Carrera

More service was performed as recently as this year to ensure the Porsche will be running perfectly in the hands of its new owner. The turbocharged 930 also climbed onto the dyno and clocked 246hp and 259 lb-ft of torque.

All in all, we think the new owner of this 930 Turbo Carrera will be pretty darn happy with their purchase.
