Coming Back

It's been a few years since the beloved Porsche Rennsport Reunion has taken place - back in 2018 - an absence that was further complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, however, the mega event is set to return for its seventh installment, as well as the fourth held at Laguna Seca, from September 28 through October 1, 2023.

Plenty of Activities

During the four-day event, fans of all ages will not only get to experience exciting racing action with vintage and contemporary Porsche race cars on track, but also be able to see many rare Porsche vehicles, enjoy new vehicle reveals, E-Sports, fan zones, and take part in opportunities to meet and interact with drivers as they share their exciting racing experiences. Rennsport Reunion will also offer a host of other off-track activities.

Dream Pairing

"California and Porsche are a dream pairing, and the Monterey Peninsula is an ideal spot to bring the two together for an unforgettable weekend with so much happening both on and off the track," said Kjell Gruner, President and CEO of Porsche Cars North America Inc.

For Everyone

"“Rennsport Reunion is for everyone," Gruner added. "We're creating an experience that's special, whether you're or a long-time enthusiast or are new to Porsche and are learning about our cars for the first time. Rennsport Seven is going to be bigger and more exciting than ever and yet at its core, it's the people that set it apart - all are welcome, and I can't wait to share our plans in the coming months."

Bringing People Together

The very first Rennsport Reunion took place back in 2001 at Lime Rock, the brainchild of Porsche 908 racer Brian Redman and Porsche PR spokesperson Bob Carlson. The two wanted to create an event that gave both drivers and Porsche fans a place to meet up and celebrate an iconic brand, and that has resonated quite well with those folks.

Every Generation

In fact, Rennsport Six hosted over 80,000 fans at WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca, an impressive number of folks that was treated to some very special machines from the distant and not-too-distant past. Pretty much every notable Porsche - particularly those involved in motorsports - was present and accounted for.

More Info

While Porsche has announced the date of Rennsport Seven, it hasn't yet revealed the finer details, including how to purchase tickets or any sort of schedule. However, the automaker did note that it will release further information on themes and ticket sales "in due course," so we should have those details soon.
