5 Bad Porsche Parking Jobs

Have you ever been out and saw a parking job that made you just ask yourself, what were they thinking? Here are 5 that we happened upon that left us scratching our heads.

1.Streets are for driving

One driver was out and about when they happened upon this red just sitting in the street with no one around. With not a person in sight and the Porsche left sitting a bit out in the way, one has to wonder what caused the owner to just up and leave it?

2. Crossing the lines

If anyone does this with their car, they are just asking for someone to do something petty to their prized possession. I'm sure they thought that stretching across as much parking real estate as possible was a great way to keep it safe... but just don't. You don't want to return to your precious car to find that some street justice vigilante has left his scratch marks across the fender, door, or hood.

3. Barrier to underbelly

If you have a low slung car then you know the pain that comes when you accidentally pull up too far in a parking space and hear that awful scraping sound of your car dragging across the cement block. This person, whether from ignorance or exuberance, ran their 997 way past that and found themselves sitting squarely on top of it. I don't know what the repair worksheet would be on this one and at this point, I'm afraid to ask.

4.Mount the curb

This could be the result of someone just rushing about far too much and paying the price by perching their Panamera on a curb, but come on. It's one thing to park too close and curb your wheels, but how do you mount the curb, put the car in park, and then leave it that way?

5. Rolling to the great beyond...

Putting a new GT3 RS into the water outside a dealership has got to be the worst of the worst parking jobs we have seen here at Rennlist. I wonder if the fellow standing there is trying to figure out if he should grab a box to put the driver's stuff into or how to extricate the car from the grip of the water? And what about the guy climbing out of the driver's side? You think he still has a job waiting for him when he gets up?
