5 of the Fastest Tuned Porsche 911

The Porsche 911 is one of the most bad ass cars ever built, and has always been one of the fastest cars on the market. While some of the factory special editions can be absolute rocket ships, they still aren’t fast enough for some! Here are the quickest custom built 911s to ever tear up pavement, in no particular order.

2014 RUF CTR3 Clubsport

Known for tuning pretty much any Porsche on the planet, RUF is no stranger to speed. This car, however, is an exceptionally rare version that you’d be lucky to see at a stop light. The CTR3 Clubsport produces 777 horsepower and 723 lb-ft of torque. Want a PDK transmission? Just cough up an extra $50,000 to add to the already ridiculous price tag of $700,000. The car can be configured with different gear ratios to suit your needs, from their factory, and is reportedly capable of speeds in excess of 230 mph when geared correctly. I’ll take one in black!

Bisimoto 930

Anyone who drives a thousand horsepower 930 is okay in my book. These things were a handful on the limit when they debuted so why not add a LOT more power. Yeah, why not. Tipping the scales at 2400 lbs this car’s power to weight ratio is among the highest in the world for a road legal car. The engineering and craftsmanship that Bisimoto put into this car really stand out!

Evolution Motorsports 997

What makes 1800 whp and hits 219.30 mph in a half mile? The Evolution Motorsports 997. Crushing the tarmac with quadruple digit horsepower, this car accelerates like nothing I’ve ever seen. The video of this record breaking run is intoxicating and will have you questioning what fast really is. Step on it and 60-130mph comes in a space time warping 2.7 seconds, but the miles per hour just keep packing on at a relentless pace. One of the fastest Porsches on earth.

Jan Fatthauer’s 9FF GT-9R

9FF? More like W-T-F. Jan’s GT-9R is one of the most beautifully designed custom 911s in existence. The heart of this car is a GT3 RSR, which it was based on, then tuned to make a stout 1120 horsepower. This car has a lot of thought put into it and it reflects in the overall performance. Top speed is a claimed 240+mph earning it a seat at the heavy weight table. The roofline is shortened to improve aerodynamic efficiency and helps creates a stunning silhouette. This car would look at home on the Mulsanne straight at Le Mans. Beautiful!

HG Motorsports 997 Cabriolet

This car makes the list because of how insanely custom it is. Dieter Heinz from HG Motorsport is a mad man, and his lunacy, and never ending search of perfection culminated in this build. The mad hatter extracts just under 700hp from this car, but blends so many different parts you’re simply left drooling on yourself. Carbon fiber wheels to reduce unsprung weight, Porsche Cup car parts, and an open top cabriolet body, mesh together to produce what you can only assume is the most visceral 911s in the world. Whoever gets to drive this thing every day is seriously lucky and needs to share it with us some time!
