Auto-Dynamics Builds the 911 Batman Would Drive
Polish tuned "Dark Knight" 911 Turbo S is more than just a slick body kit on wheels.
"The Dark Knight"
When Polish tuner Auto-Dynamics conjured up an all-black 911 Turbo S with swoopy bodywork, they couldn't help but name the car "The Dark Knight." After all, it looks exactly like something that Batman himself would keep parked in the cave if he ever grew tired of the Batmobile. But even if you don't have a mansion or a butler named Alfred, you'll still appreciate this gorgeous machine.
Styling
Obviously, the first thing that strikes you about this build is that custom bodywork. Unlike many other simple tack-on body kits, this one actually looks like it could have been installed by Porsche themselves, even though it uses components pulled from a couple of different parts bins. The full carbon "turbo aero kit" consists of a reworked TopCar rear diffuser and ventilated hood, Moshammer retractable spoiler and air outlet, side skirts, and custom rear bumper.
Performance
Lest you think that The Dark Knight is nothing more than another styling exercise, think again. It's been treated to a TechArt exhaust with custom tips, GMG Racing manifolds, IPD plenum and Y-pipes, Agency power intake, Cargraphic cats, and AWE Tuning intercoolers, which give the already powerful Turbo S even more power. Nearly 700 horsepower, enough to match the newly announced GT2 RS, in fact, is what Auto-Dynamics claims.
Interior
Much like the rest of the car, the interior has also been treated to a number of very subtle but tasteful modifications. A custom piano black finish was applied to the steering wheel and paddle shifters, with a yellow accent on the steering wheel that helps complete the Batman color scheme. They're joined by custom logo floor mats and RUF pedals - just enough changes to enhance an already awesome interior.
A Work in Progress
Most people would consider The Dark Knight to be a finished product - because it sure looks that way. However, Auto-Dynamics admits that they aren't done tinkering with the car just yet. While sadly, they're tight-lipped on most future modifications, they do admit that the 911 will receive a new set of wheels sometime soon. Considering how great the car looks now, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for any additional updates it will receive.
