1. Kelly-Moss Safari 4

Safari Porsche 911s are all the rage these days, and there were plenty of the breed in Las Vegas this year. But perhaps the best of the bunch is this wild, striped Kelly-Moss Road and Race creation. It was so cool, in fact, that it won SEMA's "Best Off-Road Vehicle" award. That's right, the best off-road machine at SEMA was a Porsche. Even among a sea of trucks and four-wheelers. The Safari 4 also happens to be Kelly-Moss' first-ever SEMA build. Not too shabby for a rookie effort!

2. Emory Motorsports' 356 RSR

Purists will undoubtedly scoff at Emory Motorsport's many controversial creations. And that includes their latest build, known appropriately as the 356 RSR. Emory is well known for slicing up old 356s, and in this case, decided to drop the old Porsche body onto a more modern 964. Scoff if you must, but you have to admit the idea is pretty cool. And even though the 356 RSR wasn't finished in time for SEMA, it still ranks as one of the cooler rides in attendance.

3. Magnus Walker’s Urban Outlaw Restomod

Famous Porsche fanatic Magnus Walker needs no introduction. In fact, his personal style has become so well known that you can instantly spot one of his creations from seemingly a mile away. Walker is no stranger to SEMA, either, as the real-life urban outlaw brings at least one of his customized rides to the show every year. This year was no exception, and perhaps our favorite of the bunch was this latest restomod 911.

4. Gunther Werks 400R

If someone was to build the ultimate Porsche 993, what would it look like? Well, probably the Gunther Werks 400R. At least, that's what the custom builder of Porsches set out to do, and it's certainly hard to argue with the result. Even though the car is instantly recognizable as a Porsche, the entire body was swapped out for a custom carbon fiber shell. Nothing else was left untouched either, from the Rothsport-built 4.0-liter flat-six to the custom stitched interior. And the end result is nothing less than stunning.

5. Toyo Tires 356 and 911

Of all the spectacular manufacturer displays at SEMA, perhaps none rivaled the amazing show put on by Toyo Tires. And of the 30+ incredible builds Toyo had on display at its Treadpass exhibit, perhaps none were cooler than this pair of matched Porsches. The curated show of craftsmanship was essentially a high-end exhibit in itself, and it's safe to say that these two vintage air-cooled Porsches were the stars of the show within a show.
