DB Equipment Transforms Taycan Into Electric Camper

Camping and overlanding are all the rage these days, and though we haven't seen too many electric vehicles outfitted for such tasks, they do make a natural fit for such endeavors thanks to the fact that they can run things like HVAC and lighting for longer periods of time without draining significant amounts of power. Now, a company called DB Equipment out of Norway is selling bespoke Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo models for those that want to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.

Fully Outfitted

Officially called The Discoverberry Bundle, this package includes a Taycan Cross Turismo with a bespoke livery, DB's Strøm 2385L Rooftop Tent, Strøm 60L Roller Bag Raspberry Edition, Strøm 30L Backpack Raspberry Edition, and Camping Kit.

Accommodations

The tent is made from DB's camping cloth, which is designed in-house and has enough space to sleep two people comfortably. The tent also features a lightweight and breathable design that's resistant to wind. A chair, table, and camping stove are included for those days you want to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Weekends in the Woods

The DiscoverBerry Bundle is essentially a turn-key electric camper, fitted with everything one needs for a weekend out in the woods, save for food and other water, of course. And personally, we can't think of anything short of a big camper we'd rather spend the night in.

Big Cost

The only downside to a luxurious, bespoke offering like this is the price, of course, which comes in at a cool $250,000. That's quite a premium over the Taycan Cross Turismo's base price of $93k, but then again, this is no ordinary electric station wagon.
