1. Porsche Movie Marathon

Get Dad three of the most iconic car films in history to tantalize his little Porsche-loving heart:

Grand Prix (1966) - Starting James Garner, Grand Prix tells the story of a racing accident that leaves driver, Scott Stoddard, critically injured.  While in recovery, his teammate Pete Aron (Garner) becomes romantically involved with his wife.  Filmed on location during the 1966 Formula One season.

Bullitt (1968) - Starring Steve McQueen, Bullitt tells the story of an all guts, no glory police officer in San Francisco who is dead set on finding the guy who killed a key witness under his protection. Bonus - Bullitt's girlfriend drives a Porsche 356.

Le Mans (1971) - Another movie starring the legendary Steve McQueen, Le Mans takes the look and feel of a documentary, and tells a story what it takes to succeed at LeMans. Porsche 917 racecars abound.

2. Porsche Driving School

One thing we all love to do is drive a piece of Porsche's magnificent machinery at its limit.  Give Dad the chance to drive a Porsche the way it was built to be driven on a track, allowing drivers to push their vehicles to the limits and test the power beneath their fingertips.

Fathers are permitted to bring their own Porsche vehicle to the Porsche Club of America Driver Education program.  Certified instructors will show drivers just what their vehicle is capable of doing.  For just under $200 per daily session, Dad can go wild at the track.

For those dads that do no have their own piece of Porsche history, the Porsche Sports Driving School will provide a car for its students.  It will cost a pretty penny, but isn't Dad worth the money?
