Front Engine Hemi Porsche 911 is a Shocking Image

I've seen engine swaps in 911 models but I've never seen one with a Hemi and moving said engine to the front!

Who's idea was this?!

Via Instagram, a French tuner shop revealed that they are currently hard at work on a front mounted Hemi 911. Who. What. When. Where. And how?! Alex Danton and Yasid Oozeear, the latter of whom is the digital artist who created these renderings, have joined forces in order to bring this German/American 911 into the world.

The early stages

The base of the car is a 997.1 Carrera 4S Cabriolet which is being extensively worked over in order to hold a bevy of new modifications. This thing will be stupid fast but in full honesty, we think the matter of front weight distribution is counterproductive to everything a 911 should be.

What happened to the rear?

As you can see above, the rear has received some weight cutting since there is no need to house the engine in the hatch. The 997 sits aggressively low with large tires and fully functional aero to help the car cut through the wind. The front splitter is matched in the rear with a ginormous chassis mounted park bench of a rear wing and a massive diffuser.

So many changes

Further changes coming from the end product renderings show us widened fenders at each corner and new side sills. The headlights will also be updated to the newer Porsches and a roll cage will be added to the interior to strengthen the chassis. An additional change that the shop divulged is that the Hemi engine will be getting a little boost in the form of a supercharger.

Definitely unique and very interesting

We here at Rennlist are very curious about how this build will turn out and will keep our eye on the shop for future updates.
