Green With Envy

St. Patrick's Day has already come and gone, but the latest creation from Porsche builder Guntherwerks still has us green with envy. This Irish Green 993 Porsche 911 is nothing short of pure, unadulterated lust on wheels, and we could quite simply stare at it until next St. Patrick's Day and never get tired of it.

Adding Lightness

As is the case with all of their rides, Guntherwerks started out with a stock 993-gen 911 before rebuilding it from the ground up and replacing or reengineering every single nut, bolt, panel, and piece. That starts on the outside, which features all-new carbon fiber body panels covered in that gorgeous Irish Green hue, with a couple of stripes left bare to show off the handiwork underneath.

Gorgeous Cabin

Much of the interior is likewise replaced with a host of carbon fiber bits, including the dash, door sills, and seats. Everything that isn't exposed carbon is covered in luxurious English Tan leather, and it's every bit as gorgeous as the exterior in our humble opinion.

Canyon Carver

Additional exterior mods on this particular car include a set of light gold Fuchs-style wheels, hexagonal mesh for the grilles and engine cover, and a more subdued ducktail spoiler, used in this case instead of a giant rear wing because this car was built as more of a canyon-carving driver than a track-focused machine.

Mechanical Bits

This particular Guntherwerks 911 is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that cranks out a healthy 435 horsepower and 335 pound-feet of torque, which it routes to the rear wheels via a proper, old-fashioned manual transmission. The car rides on a set of custom JRZ shocks and slows down in a hurry thanks to Brembo brakes.

Impeccable Taste

The Irish Green Commission 911 is part of Gunther Werks' 993 Remastered program, which is limited to 25 cars with a starting price of $585,000. This particular car was sold to a customer via Pagani Beverly Hills, who commissioned the build to their own preferred specifications. And if nothing else, it's clear that they have impeccable taste.
