No Reserve

When you founded one of the biggest apps in the world, What's App, and amass a garage full of Porsche models that many only get to dream about it, it makes sense that you understand a thing or two about business. Offering every single one of these cars with no reserve is naturally the way to go if you want to fuel the fire of Porsche insanity. Expect these cars to rake in serious cash even by this marque’s standards. “The desire to buy a Porsche motivated me to work even harder.” -Jan Koum.

993 Carrera RS 3.8 (1995)

The 993 is arguably one of the best Porsche 911s ever made. They have a rigid chassis that communicates exactly what the tires are doing to the driver while retaining a feeling that only mid 90s cars can deliver. In many car communities around the world, this decade quickly became a golden era of motoring which makes it the perfect pick to turn into a classic in several decades. Never mind they look amazing from every angle and go like hell with almost 400 horsepower on tap.

2015 918 Spyder Weissach Edition

As if the 918 wasn’t fast enough, the madmen behind this record-breaker had to come up with a special edition variant. Are you really even surprised? 214mph is the top speed of this lightened version of the car that is already light by any standard of today. Magnesium wheels drop at just over 30 lbs in unsprung weight which allows the 875bhp hybrid rocket to hit 62mph in 2.5 seconds. Get used to driving one of these and even the normal 918 might feel a bit sluggish in time.

997 GT2 RS

After a recent interview with John Morton, who has driven everything from the 917/30 to the 962 on race tracks at full speed, he was asked what car he would drive on the road if he could buy anything? His answer? “One of the newest GT2s.” That says it all. It takes an experienced eye to know that the big horsepower rear wheel drive GT Porsches are special even among a list of very special machines.

997 GT3 4.0

You simply can’t pass up an apex predator in the realm of ultimate track weapons: The 997 GT3 4.0 liter. Receiving rave reviews from every single journalist who drove one is only part of the allure with this car. Flat-6 sound, manual transmission and big shouty engine that requires heel and toe downshifting around every corner are reminders of something we might not see more of in the future. A true driver’s car among even the most die-hard of enthusiasts this car would be hard to pass up if you could only pick one.

Cayman GT4

Neutral handling has made this car a fan favorite among Porsche fans the world over. Clutch pedal feel and positioning of the body in this car are perfect, which makes it more of a suit you put on than a car you get in and drive. No other car gives an intuitive, almost telepathic control over the steering wheel like these mid-engine 3.8L 6 cylinders do.

With a howl reminiscent of a wild animal when they ingest even the smallest amounts of gasoline, these 2,955 lb streetfighters are more than capable. The GT4 Cayman is blessed with a sleek low profile that belies everything that makes the 2 seater worthy of hanging with the rest.
