Joe Rogan's 911 Restomod Is Simply Amazing

Popular podcaster Joe Rogan has accumulated considerable wealth over the years, to the point where he can obviously afford a pretty cool car collection to fuel his passion for automobiles. That includes no less than four Porsche restomods, a collection that will be growing by one more thanks to the arrival of this amazing Gunther Werks 993 911 that's one of just 25 earmarked to be built in total.

True Masterpiece

These masterpieces of Porsche art start out at $565,000, but it's clear that Rogan's model costs a bit more than that thanks to a variety of upgrades. The Midnight Black beauty is fitted with exposed carbon fiber bodywork in the form of stripes, which are accented by Solar Red pinstriping.

Powertrain

Rogan's newest restomod is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that cranks out 431 horsepower and 312 pound-feet of torque, which flows to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual Getrag G50 transmission that's been fitted with new gears to better match the power band of the hand-built engine.

Lightweight Performance

With a curb weight of just over 2,600 pounds thanks to the use of those aforementioned lightweight materials, Gunther Werks' 911 restomods are obviously quite quick in a straight line, but also handle quite well as a result of those weight-saving measures, too.

Continuing the Theme

Rogan's pristine 911 is capped off with a set of black 18-inch Fuchs-style wheels, along with a red x-brace covering the hood with a plaque beneath it reading "Built for Joe Rogan." That theme continues under the front trunk lid, where you'll find more exposed carbon fiber and red diamond-stitched leather.

Perfect Blend

That look carries over the inside, which features a mixture of exposed carbon fiber, red, and black materials. It's truly a stunning piece of art in every conceivable way, blending classic Porsche styling with modern elements to create perhaps the perfect machine.

Rogan's latest acquisition is truly a stunner, and perhaps the nicest car in his impressive collection. But we'd expect nothing less from Gunther Werks, given its reputation for building some of the finest Porsche restomods on the planet.
