Most of us mortal humans will never get the chance to own a Porsche 911 RSR, the automaker's GT endurance racer. At least not in its actual, full-size form. However, Lego has just released a highly-detailed brick replica of the 911 RSR that consists of a whopping 1,580 pieces, and it can be had for a significantly cheaper cost than the real thing - just $149.99 retail.

Highly Detailed

Lego worked directly with Porsche to develop its 911 RSR kit, which perfectly mimics the real-life racer with a number of very cool details. On the outside, that includes the car's large rear wing with swan neck mounts, an extended rear diffuser, and specially-designed side mirrors.

Functional Features

Quite a few features on the Lego 911 RSR are functional as well, including the visible, working differential, independent suspension, and flat-six engine, positioned in front of the rear axle, which features moving pistons.

Interior Features

Inside, the Lego Porsche features a radar screen, functional steering, a fire extinguisher system, and even a track map of the Laguna Seca circuit printed onto the driver’s door. The only thing missing is the fact that no one can hop in and take advantage of these amenities.
