Quick Trip

The 992 Porsche 911 Turbo S is already an incredibly quick and fast machine in stock form, with 0-60 times in the two-second range and a 200+ mph top speed. But the 992's flat-six also makes a fantastic base for a higher horsepower build, which is on clear display with this LCE Performance 911 Turbo S YouTuber AutoTopNL recently took for a high-speed run on the German Autobahn.

Side Roads

With 900 horsepower on tap, this 992 Turbo S is obviously insanely fast, a fact that's on clear display in this video. Our host starts out by blasting around on some back roads for a few minutes, letting the built flat-six make lots of glorious noise, before hitting the main road to see just how fast it can go.

Insanely Quick

According to the video, this car is capable of ripping off 0-100 km (0-62 mph) runs of 2.4 seconds, which is a bit quicker than the car's 2.6-2.7 second stock time. Out on the road from a rolling start of 87 mph, the Porsche reaches 124 mph in roughly two seconds, which is also insanely quick.

Limiting Factors

As far as top speed goes, well, our driver manages to get up to 196 mph, which is pretty darn fast but obviously not the limit for this particular build. It's clear that this 911 Turbo S is capable of going a bit higher, but this is a public road and there are obviously some limitations - mainly traffic - to take into account.

Posted Limits

While most think of the Autobahn as a lawless road with no speed limits, that isn't entirely the case. Some sections of this highway do in fact have posted speed limits, and there are also advised speed limits on unrestricted sections of road. Driving faster than these limits isn't illegal, but in the event of a crash, the driver will face increased liability.

Hard To Drive Slow

Regardless, we've seen AutoTopNL safely explore the upper limits of many fast machines on the famous highway over the years, and that includes this wicked 992 Porsche 911 Turbo S. But with 900 horsepower on tap, it's hard to drive something like this slowly, we imagine.
