Unlike conventional hybrids that are numb and lifeless, Porsche believes you can implement modern hybrid technology without sacrificing any performance. Porsche's hybrid offerings such as the Panamera Turbo-E are frighteningly fast while remaining eco-friendly and the 2019 Cayenne E-Hybrid is a great addition to the lineup. Single Turbo Power!
The 2019 E-Hybrid is propelled by a 3.0L V6 with a Single Turbo which is identical to the standard Cayenne model. The E-hybrid technology is implemented in the form of a powerful electric motor that produces 134hp and 295 lb-ft. While the Panamera transfers power through a dual-clutch PDK transmission, the Cayenne uses the tried and true Tiptronic-S automatic.

Efficiency and performance!
Porsche's electric motor and battery receive upgrades to allow the Cayenne E-Hybrid to traverse over 27 miles on just battery power alone! This feat is accomplished through increasing the overall battery capacity by over 30% from the previous year. Also, Porsche has now placed the electric motor in between the engine and transmission allowing for a mechanical actuation versus an electro-hydraulic actuation system used in the previous generation. This increases the responsiveness of electric power and provides a more engaging driving experience!
