New Kicks

Oftentimes, the worlds of fashion and cars collide, as we've seen many times with Porsche. But this latest collaboration is a truly intriguing one - a new pair of Nike SB Dunk sneakers inspired by Porsche mega fan Magnus Walker's 1971 911 T 277, which just happens to be the Urban Outlaw's favorite Porsche in his expansive personal collection.

Color Scheme

These new sneakers borrow a host of styling cues from Walker's personal ride, including its red, white, and powder blue color scheme. Over time, the leather upper is designed to wear away and reveal a gold color, which was the original hue of Walker's beloved 911.

Patina'd Shoe

The heel and tongue are embroidered with the Union Jack flag, a nod to Walker's English roots. Meanwhile, tartan plaid lines the inside of the shoe, while the midsole sports pre-made scuff marks for a little patina, which is enhanced by a cracked upper.

Devilish Details

The number "277" adorns the foxing, identical to the one that also adorns Walker's 911. The Urban Outlaw logo resides on the corner, while the Nike script was reworked to match the font of Porsche's logo on the outsole. The details are most certainly here, including the interior that replicates the upholstery in Walker's Porsche.

Hard Buy

Porsche fans and sneakerheads are going to clamor over this limited-edition shoe, which retails for $120, when it goes on sale on June 25 at 9 am EDT. Unfortunately, that means the sneakers will also be rather hard to procure, as is often the case with coveted Nike SNKRS releases. Luckily, those that must have these shoes can always secure them on the secondary market, albeit at a large premium.
