PEC Atlanta Celebrates 5th Anniversary in Style
Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta recently celebrated five years of operation with a virtual party.
Experience Porsche
Since the Atlanta branch of Porsche Experience Center opened its doors in 2015, the landmark has hosted more than a quarter of a million visitors. And while being a Porsche owner means you will get to take in all the perks of the PEC, everyone else is also welcome to stop by and enjoy everything the Porsche theme park has to offer.
All-Star Lineup
And to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, the establishment hosted a virtual event to share the cheer with Porsche enthusiasts. The event took place on Wednesday, December 9th, and it was hosted by factory racing driver Patrick Long. A number of special guests were also involved, including Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, NBA legend Dominique Wilkins, famous chef Kevin Gillespie, news anchor Francesca Amiker, influencer Shubble, and DJ Skee.
Virtual Celebration
Those who RSVP'd were encouraged to invite up to two people as guests to enjoy the show from the comfort of their own homes. "Like everything we do at Porsche, the celebration should bring the Porsche family together," said the President of Porsche Cars North America, Kjell Gruner.
So Much to do
For those who haven't had a chance to visit yet, Porsche Experience Center Atlanta features some truly amazing facilities to take advantage of. The 1.6-mile driver development track, the Heritage Gallery, a driving simulation lab, the Porsche retail store, as well as Porsche-theme fine dining options. PEC guests can also book a 90-minute driving experience with a professional coach to learn how to best take advantage of their Porsche's performance.
Expanding The Georgia Operations
The PEC in Atlanta also serves as the corporate headquarters for Porsche's North America operations. This sounds like an amazing treat for everyone who works there to be able to experience the atmosphere if nothing else. There are plans in place to expand PEC Atlanta with an extension to the race track. The large investment plan in Georgia also includes adding a dedicated Porsche Factory Restoration facility.
