Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition Celebrates Milestone
Packing proper flat-six power and an incredibly awesome new livery, the Sports Cup Edition Porsche Cayman GT4 will make you want one even more.
Reasons to Celebrate
The 718 Cayman GT4 is, without a doubt, one of the best sports cars of the year in our humble opinion. Mostly because it brings flat-six power back to the excellent platform. But now we've got yet another reason to covet the GT4 - this new Sports Cup Edition, created to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Porsche Sports Cup Germany – a customer and club sport series.

Appearances Matter
Honestly, the Sports Cup Edition GT4 is really nothing more than an appearance package. But it's a really, really good one. Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur was tasked with creating the special edition, which sports red double stripes on the driver's side that extend the entire length of the car.

Red Accents
On the sides of the GT4, you'll undoubtedly notice another set of red stripes with a "15" emblazoned on the doors - a number that signifies the anniversary of Sports Cup Germany. In addition, the side mirrors are painted solid red, along with the wing supports. On top of the wing resides a bold, red Porsche logo.

Interior Upgrades
The theme continues to the interior, where you'll find red seat belts, along with red stitching on the seats, dashboard, door panels, shift pattern, and steering wheel. Porsche has also added a host of black brushed aluminum accents to the mix, along with special floor mats, door sills, and "Porsche 15 Jahre Sports Cup Deutschland" emblazoned on the center console.

Finishing Touches
On the outside, buyers can opt for a black or white exterior. Wheels are 20-inches and finished in satin gloss black, which cover matching brake calipers. The GT4 logo in the rear has been tinted as well, and each Sports Cup Edition car comes with a special matching black indoor car cover with double red stripes.

Special Unveiling
Porsche unveiled the special GT4 at its Hockenheimring "Sportscar Together Day" event, celebrating both the opening of the new Porsche Experience Centre Hockenheimring and the season finale of the Porsche Sports Cup.

Ideal Location

Limited Car, Limited Time
Those wanting to purchase a 718 Cayman GT4 Sports Cup Edition can do so now, but only at one of Porsche's German dealerships. No word on how many the brand will ultimately produce, but they're calling it a "limited special-edition model" available only for a limited time. So now might a great time to start looking at flights!
