Special Body Kit

Vale Automotive may not be a recognizable name in the world of car customization, but that is seemingly about to change. That's because, at its shop in Northern Ireland, Vale is working on creating something pretty special - a GT1-inspired body kit for the Porsche Boxster, which is currently in development and was recently teased by these interesting renderings.

Total Transformation

From the outside, this body kit certainly transforms the Boxster into something truly unique, a creation that stands out from the pack and gives off serious supercar vibes. That starts up front, with new headlights that mimic those from the most modern Porsche vehicles.

Moving Back

The kit also includes a restyled front bumper, larger air intakes, and a splitter with red accents. The roof scoop is said to be fully functional, while side skirts and 1016 Industries wheels extend the race car looks to the rear, which features a giant shark fin and an extended tail, LED taillights, a rear diffuser, and center-exit exhaust.

Controversial Design

The shark fin has drawn some ire from folks on Instagram, but Vale notes that this feature is staying put, regardless. The builder even went so far as to post various alternative designs to gauge how potential customers felt about it, but ultimately decided to stick with the original.

In Development

As for the kit's development, it seems to be coming along nicely as the full-scale mold is almost finished. One thing's for certain - this kit totally transforms the somewhat humble Boxster into a special-looking car, and that alone will make it desirable for many folks.

Timeline

The original plan was to finish the mold in January and have kits available to purchase this month, but it's unclear if that will happen at this point. It seems that Vale is still working on fine-tuning its design, but it shouldn't be too long before the finished product is out on the street turning heads.
