One Notch Up

Porsche just pulled the covers off their all-new, insanely fast 2021 911 Turbo, and it's a looker, too. Sporting trademark wide fenders and aggressive rolling stock, the Turbo carries on the brand's tradition of cranking the regular 911 up a notch, both visually and performance-wise. But if you're looking to add even more aggression to your new Turbo, Porsche has also just introduced a brand new Sport Design kit that takes things even further.

Two Flavors

The Sport Design body kit is available for both the 911 Turbo S coupe and cabriolet and comes right on the heels of a similar offering for the regular 911. The Aerokit is available in two flavors - regular, and high gloss black. The base version comes with a newly designed front spoiler with side fins, body-color side skirts, and an active rear spoiler with winglets on each side.

Glossy Finish

If buyers also opt for the Sport Exhaust, the lower rear fascia will come painted body color as well. That option box must be ticked if you're going for the SportDesign high gloss Aerokit, however. Otherwise, the two options are essentially the same, save for the fact that the rear spoiler's extending wing, side skirts, the center section of the front spoiler, and lower rear fascia are all painted (you guessed it) gloss black.

Adding Stability

Porsche hasn't yet revealed any other details about these new Aerokits. But going by previous, similar offerings, we can safely assume that the kit enhances the aerodynamics of the 911 Turbo S at high speeds, giving the car more stability. And that's always welcome in a car that packs 640 hp and will blaze to 60 miles-per-hour in just 2.6-seconds on its way to a 205 mph top speed.

Guess the Price

We also don't know anything about pricing for these new Sport Design kits, nor their availability. But we do know that the regular 911 Carrera SportDesign package costs $4,890, while the Aerokit package runs $6,910. So we can safely assume that the Turbo kits will cost at least that much, and maybe a little bit more.

More Special

Add that to the already staggering base price of  $203,500 for the 2021 Porsche 911 Turbo S Coupe and $216,300 for the Cabriolet, both of which land in dealerships later this year, and you've got a substantial outlay of cash. But the new Turbo is obviously a lot of car for the money, one packing some seriously impressive performance potential. So buyers can certainly justify spending a few more grand to make their special 911s look even more special, right?
