Renderings Give the Porsche Taycan a GT Look
Prior Design's new Taycan body kit gives the electric sedan a very GT-like appearance.
GT Solution
It's quite possible, if not entirely likely, that Porsche will eventually build a track-focused GT version of the all-electric Taycan at some point in the future. The fact that the Taycan has proven to be such a hot seller won't hurt, either. But for those that don't want to wait years for the opportunity to buy a wicked-looking GT-like Taycan, a German outfit called Prior Design has come up with a solution.

Few Choices
Interestingly, Prior might be the only company producing such a kit at the moment, though we imagine that more will follow suit. But at least owners looking to upgrade their Taycan's looks have one nice kit to choose from, as this setup undoubtedly gives the car a very aggressive, race-inspired look.

Cutting Required
The wider fenders look right at home on the Taycan, and also make the car physically wider - 60 mm up front, and 100 mm in the rear. The only bad thing about this change is that it does require cutting, which can be a painful process on a car that costs over $100k.

Up Front
The front of the car has been gifted a much more aggressive appearance courtesy of Prior Design's front spoiler, cup wings, and a custom hood design. It all ties together quite nicely, and flows down the sides of the car to a pair of skirts that help make the wide fenders look more natural.

Out Back
Out back, Prior Design has given the Taycan a large rear diffuser and an equally large GT-style wing. But while giant wings like this often look a little out of place on some cars, it fits right in on the Taycan, at least in our opinion. Perhaps we've just gotten used to seeing these things on Porsches.

Finishing Touch
Capping off the look, and the total package that this is has a set of unique 22-inch wheels that perfectly mesh with the look of the bodywork. And if all of this is a bit too over-the-top for you, Prior is also working on a more subdued "entry-level" kit that doesn't contain the widebody fenders.

Taking the Plunge
We're personally digging the look of this body kit, though we can't imagine cutting up a brand new Taycan to install it. Regardless, we're sure that there are at least a few folks out there that won't mind, and for them, pricing for Prior's GT-like kit is available upon request.
