Russian Tuner TopCar Has A Nutty 911 (Photos)

German tuner companies always represent for Porsche but TopCar has come straight outta Russia to bring us a crazy 911 Turbo. The second gen of what it calls the Stinger GTR Carbon Edition is here to make us all sit up and take notice.

1. Carbon fiber 911

We've covered modifications for the Turbo Porsche more times than I can count now, but what is really left that can be done to the stalwart sport coupe? Well, for one, you can replace damn near every panel on the exterior of the car with so much carbon fiber that you could get sick from staring at the weave patterns. That's no hyperbole either. Everything is now lightweight carbon fiber save for the roof and part of the doors.

2. It's a Turbo Porsche...but crazier

Making the car lighter and quicker was just the beginning of the changes TopCar had in store for the 911 Turbo S. Under the rear hatch, you'll find the 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat six engine that now pushes out a face slapping 650 horsepower and goes from 0-62 in 2.8 seconds flat via launch control. Those two turbos have been swapped out for larger units and freshly tuned electronics to allow the coupe to take on a more sinister persona.

3. Gimme Gimme Gimme Gimme

If one were to purchase this extensive 17-piece kit on its own, sans car, TopCar charges about $39,600. Then add in an additional $4,440 bucks if you'd  like the GT3 RS vented front fenders. However, I could be wrong but I believe that the ADV wheels will be included in the complete kit price.

4. So limited but so nice

The more aggressive look is complimented by a set of ADV.1 Wheels that give the massive calipers a chance to catch your eye when they aren't doing their job of bringing the beefy coupe back to legal speeds. If you're interested enough to add these forged alloy wheels to your own Porsche they are the ADV5 M.V1 SL Monoblock Wheels. These are a staggered set where the fronts are 20X9 and the 21x11.5 for the rears. That gunmetal finish on there goes by Liquid Smoke by the way.

5. Does anyone have a lotto ticket?

The Stinger GTR Carbon is a crazy car that unfortunately is a very limited run of just three cars. We're sure the company won't have any trouble find a home for these beautiful vehicles. For those who would like something stronger than the current Turbo S but still want something relatively more affordable, Porsche is hard at work now on a higher performing Turbo for the masses.
