Money Maker

Singer Porsches are highly coveted items in today's world, and for good reason. These impeccably detailed machines take time to make and feature only the finest components, many of which are handmade. So it's no surprise that Singers command big money on the secondary market as well, which was once again the case with this beautiful example dubbed "Newcastle Commission" that recently crossed the block at Collecting Cars.

Long Process

This particular car was built using a UK-market 964 Carrera 2 that was on the road from 1990 to 2014 before it was sent to Singer for the conversion. That process took roughly six months - the first half of 2015 - at Singer's shop in Los Angeles. By the end of the year, it was back with its owner in the UK, and the car made its world debut at the 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Number One Stunner

The Singer Porsche remained with the owner that commissioned its built for around four years before it was sold to the person that's selling it now. And like every other Porsche bearing the Singer name attached, it's a stunner in every conceivable way - inside, out, and underneath.

Upgraded Cabin

A set of optional carbon-fiber lightweight track seats adorn the cabin, along with a combination of blue semi-suede and blue leather. That's complemented by a blue leather weave treatment on the seats, door panels, rear quarter panels, and dash. Piano Black adds a nice bit of contrast to the shift knob, front seatbacks, and handbrake.

New Body

The exterior of the 911 wears all-new carbon-fiber body panels including the front and rear wings, bumpers, hood, engine lid, spoiler, and roof. They're all covered in Singer Racing White, with ghosted light blue stripes and both blue and black Porsche motifs.

Plentiful Power

The gorgeous restomod is powered by Singer's optional 4.0-liter flat-six that's been completely gone through by Ed Pink Racing Engines. It produces 390 horsepower and 315 pound-feet of torque, which flows through a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission to the rear wheels.

Porsche Perfection

The result is a masterfully detailed car that will also do 0-60 in just 3.3 seconds. Thus, it's no wonder that most consider Singer Porsches to be the perfect iteration of what is already an iconic car - the 911. As we see often in life, perfection rarely comes cheap or easy, and the former certainly applies in this case.
