Collaborative Effort

When it comes to the wild, widebodied Porsche creations that come from Akira Nakai of Rauh Welt Begriff (RWB), well, people either love them or hate them. But if you dig these insane machines, we've come across one that you're definitely going to enjoy. This particular 911 C2 was actually a collaborative effort between Nakai, Urban Outlaw, and Bisimoto, and it's currently up for sale over at RMC Miami

Video Game Project

The car was originally constructed back in 2016 for video game producers working on the next Need for Speed title. They wanted to create a unique Porsche for an upcoming installment and sought out ideas from fans of the franchise. Those gamers then chose the car's components using NFS's in-game customization tools.

Second Transformation

But that was only the first of three transformations this Porsche underwent in three years. The next came just in time for the 2016 SEMA show, when it was redone as a faux "Spirit of 147" rally car, the Porsche 911 driven by Herbert Linge and David Falke to victory at the 1965 Monte Carlo Rally.
Thus, it was reworked with a black paint job, Rotiform wheels, and CIBI headlights.

Final Form

The third and final iteration came shortly thereafter. Now, the Porsche has returned to its original white hue, with smoothed out signature RWB fenders instead of the original exposed rivets. The wheels were then color-matched to the car's trim and fitted with Toyo R888R rubber.

Blown and Fortified

Under the hood, you'll find an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six with a TPC supercharger that produces a cool 400 horsepower. The engine has been completely rebuilt and fortified with Carillo connecting rods, new cams and seals, and an effective 9:1 compression ratio.

Variable Height

The whole thing rides on an Airlift 3p suspension, which enables the driver to both clear speed bumps and looks cool when the car is parked. A stock G50 transmission handles the shifts, and the interior of this vintage Porsche is about as clean and attractive as you'd expect it to be.

Story to Tell

Despite going through more forms than most cars go through in a lifetime, this cool Porsche looks no worse for wear. And if you dig the insanely wide RWB look, well, you're going to love it. Otherwise, maybe not so much. But personally, we think this 911 is cool if only because it has such a unique story to tell.
