Give Me More

By all accounts, the brand new 992 Porsche 911 is a pretty quick machine, even in standard form. And if you want more, upcoming variants will undoubtedly fill that need. But if you're the impatient type (like us), German tuner TechArt already has a rather tasty upgrade package available for those who want to more of just about everything.

Attractive Piece

Of course, the bulk of TechArt's 992 package consists of visual upgrades. But they're good ones. It all starts up front, with a five-piece splitter that seemingly floats in place and utilizes existing mounting points. Throw in some unique two-tone paintwork, and it's a very attractive piece.

Integrated Contrast

TechArt's package also includes two-piece "airframes" up front that further enhance the car's aggressive looks. That look continues down the sides of the 911, with multi-piece side skirts that both integrate neatly into the existing bodywork and add a distinct contrast with a shark-like fin near the rear wheel arches.

Heading to the Rear

Out back, the design culminates with an aggressive rear diffuser with five fins. Above the diffuser you'll find aero wings surrounding the 911's exhaust tips, as well as both a roof and rear spoiler. Or if you're craving more downforce or even more aggressive looks, TechArt also offers a large wing spoiler as an option.

Wheel Choices

TechArt's new Daytona II wheel design is an evolutionary upgrade on their original 996 Daytona wheel, but this time they utilize modern forged construction. The new wheels are available in either 20 or 21-inches, and either a single or two-tone color treatment.

Artful Stitching

TechArt also employs its own interior factory, so you can expect some big upgrades inside as well. In this case, they utilize a combination of leather and genuine wool, or just a full leather interior if you wish. Pretty much everything here can be personalized depending on the customer's preferences.

Custom Cabin

Other interior upgrades include carbon fiber door sills that illuminate, aluminum pedals, a special sports steering wheel, and well, anything else you can possibly imagine. TechArt is capable of adding just about any custom element you wish, and we can certainly think of a few that would look right at home in the 992's cabin.

More Power

Of course, you wouldn't just want to add all these cool looks and creature comforts without also adding power. And TechArt already has an upgrade for you there, too. The tuner's "powerkit" adds an additional 60 horsepower to the 992's flat-six, bringing total output up to 510, as well as 60 additional lb-ft of torque for a total of 450.

Improved Performance

Tapping into this extra power is pretty easy, too. Simply switch your 992 into Sport or Sport+ mode and you're good to go. The performance receives a slight uptick as well, as TechArt claims it's revised 992 will do 0-62 miles per hour in 3.2-seconds. Throw in TechArt's sports exhaust with dynamic valves, and you're sure to have one nice-sounding package, too.

Comprehensive Package

Overall, TechArt's 992 911 is a nice, comprehensive package that truly looks great. So if you're the type who really wants to stand out from the crowd, this setup looks like the way to go. But as we've seen in the past, it's also only the beginning of what should be a fruitful aftermarket for Porsche's latest version of their legendary model.
