This Porsche Boxster Shooting Brake was Built by Students
This custom-built Porsche shooting brake was made by students using bits from various generations of 911
Custom Shooting Brake
A group of students at Fonty's University in the Netherlands, overseen by the Van Thull Development Firm, took it upon themselves to design and construct a custom one-off Porsche Shooting Brake. Spotted over at Autoblog, we think it captures everything a Porsche is. But don't take our word for it, see for yourselves!

Truly Unique Proportions
Originally designed for transporting hunting parties, the shooting brake goes all the way back to the early 1900s. Here we see the Porsche offers up a great example of classic shooting brake proportions; a sporty vehicle, with a long drawn out hatch for extended carrying capacity. This vehicle's architecture lends itself to a truly unique and recognizable proportion.

Hot Hatch
Seamlessly integrated, the hatch is borrowed from a Peugeot and blends just perfectly into the rest of the body. It's a perfect fit and absolutely completes the shooting brake aspect of this build.

Starting Life
Here we see the shooting brake starting out life from a 986-generation Boxster. An interesting choice for the foundation of the build as the Boxster is the smallest of the Porsche line-up. Judging by the end result, however, we think they made it work just fine!

Porsche DNA
There can be no mistaking the Porsche DNA with this build, as the exterior features numerous generations of 911 including 996, 997, and 991. We think it looks well incorporated considering 5 different vehicles make up this one model!

Magnificent Fit and Finish
Overseeing the project, was a company called Van Thull Development, a Netherlands-based firm that specializes in carbon fiber bodywork. You can see the professional finish and attention to detail here. The cut lines and body panels are neat and tidy. The transitions between the different body panels are seamlessly integrated and roll right into the wide hips of this one-off Porsche.

Iconic 911 Stance
It's clear here that painstaking amount of work and attention has gone into this build, as an iconic 911 rear end stands in place of the Boxster it replaces. Its wide and low just like a factory 911 and if you didn't tell us otherwise, we'd swear this just rolled off the factory floor!
