A Transformed 911

This 1975 Porsche 911 Carrera has been transformed and is virtually unrecognizable as when it first started life. Seen over at Carscoops, we think this 911 is the definition of ingenuity and definitely warrants a closer look.

A Serious Rear Wing

A Focused Interior

The original dash remains, but that's about all. The floor and interior have been stripped out, while aluminum pedals and panels are put in their place. Racing seats have been added to keep the interior focused on the essentials; being light and going fast.

Stripped for Weight

All non-essentials have been removed to keep weight down on this 911 "Outlaw" track toy. Here we see how extensive the effort as even hidden panels and linings have been removed and exposed components remain in plain sight.

Usable Power

Plenty of power on tap as this 911 features 964 lifters and camshafts, a rebuilt turbocharger, Rarlyl8 Motorsports headers, a custom-built intercooler, Kevlar clutch, and lightweight flywheel. Upgraded brakes have also been added to keep all this extra power in check.

Track Day Essentials

A journey through this 1975 911 "Outlaw" and anyone can see the lengths made to make this truly a track day performer. Its mismatched parts would make any purist cringe but as we see everything working together in such high-performance harmony we say bravo to this mismatched beauty.
