Unloved or Underappreciated?

The 996-gen 911 is certainly a bit unloved in comparison to the Porsches that came before and after it. But personally, we love these machines. Especially when they're Turbo models in immaculate shape like this beautiful '01 currently up for grabs in the Rennlist Marketplace.

Pampered Life

The seller of this gorgeous machine, member Red_Z, is only the second owner. He purchased it from another Rennlist member way back in 2008 and has obviously loved it ever since. It's the cleanest 996 Turbo we've seen in some time, in fact.

Garage Queen

Even with 85k miles on the clock, this 911 looks basically brand new. The seller describes it as a "garage queen" that he simply doesn't have time to drive very much. Thus, he's letting it go, and whoever lands it is very lucky in our opinion.

Top Notch Maintenance

As you might expect with a car in this kind of condition, all maintenance has reportedly taken place at a Porsche dealership. There are certainly no short cuts or questionable repairs that have taken place here, just top-notch service.

Bone Stock

The seller claims that everything is fully operational and working properly on the car. And amazingly enough, it remains in bone stock condition. A large percentage of these cars have been modified, so that makes this one even more desirable.

Track Free

The seller also states that the car has never seen any time on a track. And who are we to argue? The 911 certainly doesn't look like it's ever been abused in any way and lacks the typical scars you see on track day machines.

Looks Unused

The inside of the 996 is absolutely immaculate as well. Much like the exterior, it just looks unused. Especially in the back seat area, where we doubt anyone has ever planted their rear end in these tiny little seats.

Typical Wear

This is some wear in the driver's seat area, however, but that's to be expected. After all, this car does have 85k miles on it. And as we've found, it's extremely difficult to prevent these cracks and bolster wear from happening.

Fully Documented

The seller also has all the paperwork you'd expect from such a fine original car. That includes all the original manuals and books, as well as a full maintenance history including the work that's been performed over his years of ownership.

Reasonably Priced

With a very reasonable asking price of $43,500, you certainly won't find much more car for the money. And even if you aren't a fan of the 996's "cracked egg" headlights, you can't help but appreciate this original beauty. So be sure and head over here to scope out the full listing and all the photos of this gorgeous 911!
