Ready Made Collection

The Porsche 911 GT3 lineup has always been a favorite among enthusiasts who prefer a more traditional driving experience, which has helped keep the value of older models afloat - and in many cases, elevated compared to other variants of the iconic sports car. However, we haven't quite seen anything like this recent auction listing at Pistonheads, which is giving one lucky person the chance to bring home an entire trailer full of 911 GT3 models - quite literally.

Whole Collection

Save for the 991.1 GT3, GT3 RS, and some race cars, this collection consists of almost every variant offered during the 991 generation of the sports car, all parked neatly on a six-car trailer. Austrian architect Alexander Serda put the whole thing together as a way to create a grown-up version of a Porsche transporter he owned as a kid, and needless to say, he did a nice job of that.

Plan Gone Awry

Serda also planned on taking his very cool collection to the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed to help celebrate Porsche's 70th anniversary, but sadly, that dream never came to fruition. Instead, this collection sat in storage for the past five years - only to surface for sale recently.

Special Six

Now, somebody will get the chance to purchase it completely intact, and we imagine there will be plenty of suitors willing to do just that. As it sits, this special offering consists of a 2018 991.2 GT3 Clubsport, a 2016 911 R, a 2018 991.2 GT3 Touring, a 2019 991.2 GT3RS Weissach, a 2018 991.2 GT3 Cup, and a 2018 991 GT3R Carbon, plus a Man TGX LLS Truck to haul them around with.

Best of the Bunch?

One could argue that the 911 R is the most special model in this group, given the fact that it was the only way at the time to enjoy Porsche's 4.0-liter flat-six and a manual gearbox, and as such, these cars are worth big money today. This example is said to be essentially "untouched," to boot.

Track Focused

Of course, it isn't alone in that regard - this collection also includes a Racing Yellow 991.2 GT3 RS Clubsport with the Weissach package, which includes pretty much everything one could want from a track-focused 911, including a roll cage, harnesses, a carbon fiber hood, and magnesium wheels.

Big Money

It's unclear what kind of money this sale will ultimately garner, but it figures to be well into the seven-figure range, given the fact that no-mile 911 Rs have already crested that mark alone. However, we imagine that someone with deep pockets and a passion for Porsche will be more than happy to shell out an obscene amount of cash for it, regardless.
