These appear to be a quick and relatively easy DIY mod that can be done in a matter of minutes. The manufacturers of such systems claim significant HP increases from dyno testing. The Gruppe M is definitely the king of the hill of cold air intake systems. This product is beloved by trackers all around. Made specifically for the turbo, the gains are very impressive, second only to the price tag. Whether or not the extra HP over the Fabspeed product is important is up to the buyer. The Gruppe M has a nice distinctive sound and really can't be beat on track day when combined with aftermarket headers and an exhaust bypass system. Recommended for the serious track enthusiast.
