4 Porsche Models That Are Still Relatively Affordable
These four Porsche models are still relatively affordable in a world where most are not.
Bargain Hunt
As Porsche fans are painfully aware, finding anything that one might consider a reasonable deal these days is a rather difficult task. Thanks to its rabid popularity - coupled with soaring inflation and materials costs - the values and sticker prices of Porsche vehicles have risen dramatically in recent years, too. However, there are a few models out there that are still relatively affordable - some familiar ones, and a couple that some may not be aware of.

2015-2018 Porsche Cayenne
First up, we have one particular model that a lot of folks don't think about when they're looking for an affordable Porsche - the Cayenne, or specifically, the later, second-generation 2015-2018 models. While new Cayennes sell for big money, the SUV also tends to depreciate quickly, which means that these well-equipped and modern-looking models can be had for around $30k in nice condition with reasonable mileage.

1997-2004 Porsche 991 (996)
Of course, if one really wants a 911, there's always the 996 generation, which is still a bit under-appreciated in the grand scheme of things, though it has gained some fans in recent years. Much of that stems from its value proposition, and even in today's world, one can find a nice example - perhaps even with the IMS bearing already replaced - for under $50k.

1996-2004 Porsche Boxster
The first-generation Boxster has always been one of the most affordable used Porsche models one can buy, and that's still the case today. In fact, these cars are among the cheapest Porsches out there of any sort, routinely selling for around $15k in solid shape. There are some reasons for this - IMS concerns and runny egg headlights chiefly among them - but it's still hard to argue with this kind of value.

Porsche Macan
Finally, have one notable option for those who want to buy a new Porsche without breaking the bank - the Macan - which starts out at just over $60k, which is nearly half the price of the base 911 Carrera. One still gets the signature Porsche driving experience for that money, however, and if you really want more, the sporty Macan GTS offers precisely that for around $86k.
