Polarizing Porsches

By now, pretty much everyone in the world of Porsche - along with quite a few others that aren't - is well aware of Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB), the brainchild of Akira Nakai-San that takes various 911 models and transforms them into unique, wide-bodied, and oftentimes track-focused machines. Some people love the RWB look, others hate it, but we can say one thing about it definitely - it's instantly recognizable. Thus, we've assembled what we believe are the 7 wildest RWB Porsche builds to date, and it's quite the eclectic bunch, for certain.

Adriana

First up, we have an RWB creation called "Adriana," which is perhaps the easiest to spot in a lineup thanks to its salmon pink paint job. This particular car was built specifically for track use, and even suffered some serious damage after it was rear-ended by a Lotus at the Idlers Club 12-hour race in Motegi, Japan, back in 2016. However, it has since received a total overhaul, and it's impossible to tell that it was nearly a write-off just a few years ago.

Yoshiwara

This 911 Targa dubbed "Yoshiwara" is otherwise known as the gold car - for obvious reasons - and it sports quite a few unique features, such as a glass roof in place of the original steel unit. It's also equipped with a GT2-inspired front end and plenty of interesting styling tweaks, coupled with the typical fat fenders and super-wide tires that are signature features of RWB builds.

Kamiwaza

On the flip side, Kamiwaza isn't quite as wild and audacious as other RWB builds, but it's still quite unique, if not a bit understated. Aside from its white paint, this Turbo-based build sports a rather gigantic rear wing that somewhat kills its sleeper vibes, though it's also packing some engine upgrades to back up those looks, too.

Rough Rhythm

Of course, Rough Rhythm subscribes to more of a "look at me" sort of aesthetic thanks to its bright green hue, which makes no apologies for its audacious looks. Everything about this 993-based 911 is over the top, from its incredibly wide rear fenders to its stripped-out interior and modified 3.6-liter flat-six.

Martini

For die-hard motorsports fans, it's hard to beat the looks of "Martini," which sports the same livery as some pretty iconic racers from the past. Aside from that, this 993 911 has some ultra-wide Fuchs-inspired wheels, but the absolutely massive rear wing serves as a reminder that this is still an RWB build.

Super Musashi

Super Musashi is yet another bright green RWB creation, albeit a relatively unique one thanks to its somewhat subdued appearance compared to some other builds. However, that doesn't mean it isn't still a serious head-turner thanks to its exposed-bolt over-fenders and double-tiered rear wing.

Targa

Rounding out our list is something very different for an RWB build - this Carrera 2 Targa that's finished in a subtle shade of white with a black top. Of course, it still features the signature wide fenders and rolling stock that define these types of builds, but in this case, there are no gigantic multi-tiered wings or wild graphics to take it over the top, visually speaking.
