German Power

The Porsche 911 has long been a popular model to modify, with a host of aftermarket tuners coaxing truly impressive amounts of power from the iconic sports car for many years now. One of those companies is G-Power, a German outfit that knows a thing or two about making the 911 - along with various other vehicles from the likes of BMW - much, much faster. Case in point - this 911 Turbo S, which is truly an impressive build by anyone's standards.

Healthy Increase

On the performance side of things, G-Power treats the 911 Turbo S model's 3.7-liter flat-six to its own air cooler and performance exhaust system with sport cats, which - with a tune - helps improve output from 641 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque to 800 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of twist - a truly healthy increase.

Few Clicks Faster

As one might imagine, that extra power translates to solid performance figures, as the G-Power 911 Turbo S will rocket from 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds, with 120 mph coming in just 4.95 seconds. The former figure is a notable improvement on the car's factory rating of 2.6 seconds, though that's also a bit conservative, as we've seen.

New Shoes

Of course, G-Power didn't just give the Porsche 911 Turbo S more power and call it a day, as this particular build is also fitted with a host of upgraded appearance parts, too. Those start with a set of forged aluminum Hurricane wheels that are 21x9.5 inches up front and 22x12 in the rear.

Plenty of Rubber

Those fancy new GP Orange wheels are wrapped in tires measuring 255/30 in the front and 335/25 in the rear, giving the car a nice stance and a truly muscular look, as well as enough contact patch to help put that 800 horsepower to the ground.

Body Mods

The body of this 911 has been treated to a few upgrades as well, including a carbon fiber hood and carbon fiber rear wing, giving astute onlookers a couple of clues that this is no "ordinary" Turbo S. Then again, nobody's calling these cars a sleeper by any stretch of the imagination.

Sweet Spot

In a sea of modified 911s and the folks that tune them, the G-Power Turbo S stands out for offering up a considerable performance boost compared to stock, but without having to go over-the-top with upgrades. To us, it hits the proverbial sweet spot in that regard.
