Mishmash

There are plenty of talented artists showing off their wares online these days, but few are better at their craft than Al Yasid. Yasid has been creating some interesting renderings for some time now, many of which we've featured in the past. But his latest work depicts something very interesting - a one-off creation that blends styling from the Porsche 911 of old and the third-generation Chevrolet Corvette.

Old and New

Yasid calls his creation Porsche Concept Zero Two, for lack of a better name. Regardless, it's quite stunning to look at, and still retains enough Porsche DNA that it's instantly recognizable as such. What's particularly interesting is that it also incorporates modern Porsche styling features, most notably the headlights with floating LED elements inside.

Vintage Cues

There are many vintage 911 styling cues present here as well, however, including the Targa bar up top, as well as the fuel filler cap sticking out of the hood. Fuchs wheels are another classic Porsche throwback, but the overall shape of this creation screams third-generation Corvette with its bottle-like profile.

Intimidating Rear

From the rear, things are decidedly modern, however, with exposed mechanicals and menacing-looking exhaust tips and rear tires. The flat-six under the hood is the only engine that would pass in this sort of design, and that's precisely what Yasid planted back there. There are also a pair of turbos hanging out visibly near the bottom as another form of intimidation.

Finishing Touches

Overall, the Concept Zero Two looks far longer than a standard 911, with the rear glass extending all the way back and showing off the flat-six that powers this imaginary ride. Giant wide fenders cover the car's aggressive rubber, while an illuminated Porsche logo and full-width light bar cap off the rear.

Different Take

These renderings imagine something that is very unlikely to ever see the light of day, but that's all part of the fun. It's just interesting to see what artists can come up with when they get creative and redo some of the more iconic vehicles on the planet, and we never get tired of seeing different takes on the legendary 911.
