Stunning Creation

The Porsche 928 is finally starting to gain favor among collectors as a cool and desirable vehicle, which has been a long time coming. While Porsche's foray into the front-engine, rear-wheel-drive segment is somewhat frowned upon these days, the automaker did sell quite a few of them. But we'd wager that no 928 on earth is as nice as this one created by Nardone Automotive and the Italian design studio, BorromeodeSilva.

Modern Take

The idea here was to transform the 928 into a special, tailor-made GT restomod, and that process started with new composite fenders, one-off lighting, and a set of forged 18-inch wheels designed to look like the 16-inch  originals, which are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 tires.

Subtle Tweaks

There are many subtle tweaks to be found on the exterior, from the enlarged wheel well openings to the subtle changes in the lighting to a few tweaks in the air intakes to improve flow. All of this adds up to a car that most people wouldn't even be able to tell apart from a stock example, but they also greatly enhance the looks of the car.

True GT

Inside the cabin, Nardone has given this 928 a truly luxurious cabin wrapped in Foglizzo leather and Alcantara that looks every bit as nice as it is comfortable to sit in. But that's the point of a GT - a car that we can drive long distances in total comfort.

Enhanced Sound

Nardone has also given this 928 the full Porsche Classic Management system (PCCM) treatment, as well as a luxury Hi-Fi system and Apple CarPlay for those that like to listen to some soothing tunes while they're cruising down the coast.

Mechanical Upgrades

In terms of mechanicals, Nardone has also enhanced the 928's performance by giving the factory powerplant an updated ECU with a targeted output of 400 horsepower. Other upgrades include a six-speed manual transmission in place of the original five-speed, as well as an electronically-controlled suspension and beefier brakes.

Ultimate Version, Ultimate Price

After making appearances at Milan Design Week and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Nardone's gorgeous 928 will soon be available to customers for €480,000, or around $490k, starting in 2024. That's a lot of coin by anyone's standards, but for anyone looking for the ultimate version of the 928, this seems to be the one.
